This year, the celebration of the World Press Freedom Day in Togo was postponed to Wednesday 6 May 2015 instead of 3 May as usual. The main reason is that the deal date of the celebration failed on a Sunday.
The official celebration chaired by the Ministry of Communication, Culture, Arts and Civic Training was attended by the President of the High Authority of Audiovisual and Communication (HAAC), many representatives of media associations and around 60 journalists.
